Gateway Community Hub Booking Form

The Gateway Hub is a community space dedicated to support the people that live and work in Falls Creek.  It is made up from two quiet meeting rooms and a larger conference space. This space may be used by community members to host meetings, video conferencing, workshops, small community gathering events. There are tea and coffee making facilities. 

This form may be used to book a space at a desk, one or both of the private rooms, or book the hub in its entirety. The total maximum number of attendees for the space is 24. 

The Falls Creek Gateway Hub is born out of Victorian State and Australian Government funding following the Bogong High Plains Road Landslip.  The primary purpose of this space is to provide a place for people who live and or work in the Falls Creek Community to connect and be connected.

The Gateway Hub is available for bookings as per below.  A key in exhange for an ID deposit will need to be collected and returned to FCAR Visitor Information Centre on Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sun.  The Hub will be manned outside of these days and you will not need to collect a key.

The Community Hub, located within the Gully Day Shelter is managed by Falls Creek Alpine Resort ( FCAR).

FCAR endeavours to ensure the Community Hub is kept clean and in good repair. As a condition of your use of the Community Hub, you must not allow or cause intentional damage to occur to the Board Room or any part thereof or any of the chattels therein.  You must report any accidental damage to FCAR in the immediate instance of occurence - fees to cover the cost of any damage or repair may be applied.

1.   The Community Hub is provided to Community members free of charge whilst under the current disaster funding arrangements (up until end June 2025).  Following this, the Hire Fee of $250.00 per half day or $400.00 per full day will be instated.

2.   The Hire Fee applies only to the Facility, Furnishings, and the Equipment necessary for cleaning the Facility.

3.   If conference call facilities are required a separately negotiated fee will be payable based on estimated use.

4.   You must supply your own tea/coffee/ catering supplies.

5.   The Community Hub must be properly cleaned, the rubbish removed and the tables and chairs rearranged in the order they were found.

6.   All cleaning, rubbish removal, etc. must be completed by you or your group on the day of the event.

7.   Unless the Community Hub has been rented hourly on the day before the event all set-up and decoration will be completed on the day of the Event.

8.   Any damages, theft or cleaning expenses incurred will be invoiced to you or your agent within seven (7) days of the event, if and as required.

9.   Publicity and signs provided by your organisation or an individual, must not give the impression that FCAR sponsors the program or event unless  pre-approved by FCAR Staff.

10. All signs must be professional, placed in the display stand provided, and removed immediately after the program or event.

11. The service of food and / or alcohol is not permitted. Smoking is not permitted inside the Community Hub.
