ARV Volunteer Reward Scheme

Overview

Falls Creek relies on a committed and dedicated volunteer workforce to deliver its summer program of events. This workforce is primarily sourced from the local area and includes:

ARV / FC staff volunteering their time
Passionate locals who support the events
Friends and family of participants who wish to contribute

While volunteering is intrinsically rewarding, ARV recognises the valuable contributions volunteers make and the significant need for their support. This scheme outlines the rewards available to volunteers as a gesture of appreciation.

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers may be involved in a range of roles, including but not limited to:

Guest Services
Event Registration
Event Marshalling
Event Setup and/or Pack Down
Event Logistics Support

Reward Scheme

Volunteers will be offered one of the following reward options:

Option A: Complimentary Event Entry

Volunteers who work more than 5 hours on any one event are eligible for a complimentary event registration or pass for themselves or a nominated family member or friend.

Example:
Stacey volunteers at an ARV managed MTB race. She receives a free entry for her child to participate in the race.

Option B: Complimentary Resort Entry Permit

Volunteers who contribute 20 hours or more across ARV events are eligible for a complimentary Falls Creek resort entry vehicle permit for the following snow season.

If a volunteer contributes fewer than 20 hours, the permit cost will be pro-rata based on hours worked.
Couples may combine their hours to receive one complimentary permit between them.

Examples:

Adam volunteers at 4 events, working 4 × 5-hour shifts. He receives a complimentary resort entry season permit.
Carrie volunteers for 15 hours. She pays 25% of the permit cost to cover the shortfall.
Rob and Jess each volunteer for 10 hours. Together, they receive one complimentary permit.
